June 30th will mark the end of the 2019-2021 term for our current NEADTA Board. A transition meeting between the outgoing and incoming Boards will be held prior to the start of the upcoming 2021-2023 term.
Our hope is for a mindful and deliberate transition in order to continue to build upon the strongfoundation of our chapter, and to encourage a stronger sense of community throughout membership.
The current Board extends its deepest gratitude to all that have been a part of its journey, and whole-heartedly welcomes the elected-Board!
As a board we have been confronted with the strengths and challenges of navigating the inter sectioning social, political, and cultural identities of our membership, and are growing in our awareness of the complexities that our members face to better be able to hold space for and support our members.
We’re continuing to engage in essential dialogue around the disparities that our members have experienced historically and currently, and are working towards introducing a collaborative diverse, equitable, and inclusive initiative in the coming weeks. We are hopeful it will bring about further connectivity within our membership.
We welcome you to take some time to explore our website and learn more about our chapter! If you’re interested in becoming a member, have questions about our events, or want to connect with the Board, send us an email. We look forward to connecting with you!
