Q: Hmm, I noticed that this is a “Virtual Retreat”, not the usual “Annual NEADTA Conference”. How come?
A: Great question! This year has brought about a tremendous need for connection, re-learning, listening, and movement as a community. Our hope is to offer the space for those who want to join us is doing just that.
Q: Will the Virtual Retreat offer CEs?
A: No, sorry, the event will not provide CEs.
Q: How will the retreat take place?
A: The Virtual Retreat will be held through the NEADTA’s Zoom account. The NEADTA will be utilizing Zoom’s Closed-Captioning and Live Transcription capabilities.
Q: Do I have to stay on screen the entire time?
A: Definitely not! Screen breaks are welcomed, and having your camera “on” is not required. Furthermore, the same link will be used throughout the entire event, so you are welcomed to come and go as you please.
Q: There are a lot of people contributing to the content of the day’s events. Are they being compensated?
A: The NEADTA is glad to share that all contributors are being compensated for the time, expertise, and passion they are sharing with us. Compensation is being provided through monetary reimbursement, admission to the Retreat, and/or reimbursed NEADTA membership.
Q: Oh! So that’s why this isn’t a free event!
A: That’s right! Your admission allows for us to compensate fairly, as well as to build our funds for future events including our 2022 Membership Appreciation Day (free to all NEADTA members!), the Penny Lewis and Norma Canner Scholarship, and other CE opportunities.

Q: Okay, I think I’ll register! How do I do that?
A: Great! We need you to fill out the registration form with the usual details, and then provide payment. You can do both through the “Registration and Payment” page.
Q: What’s the refund policy?
A: All sales are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled, all purchases will be honored for the next event date. If the event is canceled, all purchases will be refunded in full within 30 days of the event date.
